Welcome to the 21st century!  You are a part of a world that is infused with Artificial Intelligence technology and many great achievements in the areas of science, gaming, writing and music is beginning to develop and thrive.  I am grateful to be living in a world of highly advanced technology that is improving the lives of human beings through purchasing products on Amazon to using your digital fingerprint on your phone as an identity to check your bank account or to buy digital music on Apple Music or Spotify.

How did we come to this fork in the road?  Technology is great, but it has limitations.  People are using AI websites such as Chat GPT or Jasper AI to improve their writing skills.  It is a tool that was intended for creativity does not boost it by any means.  We forget that the human mind is a God-given gift that allows everyone the opportunity to form new ideas and concepts through their visions and dreams every night.  Human beings are becoming too dependent on the AI world.  Our society must remember that a "mind is a powerful thing to waste." Originality is being thrown out of the window by artificial intelligence, whose sole purpose is to gather information from databases on the World Wide Web for our answers.

Do you think that Albert Einstein, Walt Disney or Ernest Hemingway would embrace the AI world today?  I believe that they would be firmly against it.  Creativity should always come from the human mind.  Never forget that.  There is an interesting fact written in an article by MIT Technology Review.   It was a test of 293 participants. The people that scored high on creativity had "easier access to AI tools and showed the most creativity.  Only 88.4% of the human population took advantage of AI assistance.  The test favored the least creative people, while the most creative people scored the lowest."  The test conducted by Columbia University saw that people with the highest creativity levels did not need to use Grammerly, CopyAI Inc or Jasper AI to boost their own creativity levels.

Will AI Technology hurt our human society in the future?

Yes, AI Technology will hurt our human society in the future because we will become dependent on robots to be our friends, to clean our house, or cook our meals on a daily basis. People will lose their identity and self purpose in life.  And they will become lazy and mindless.  Do you forget the famous movie "I Robot" with Will Smith in 2004?  We may have "killer robots" on our hands when they malfunction or have bad wiring.  Robots can turn on the human race.

Technology is growing at a feverish and rapid place in our society today.  AI Technology will definitely give robots so much information in their memory banks that is a dangerous agenda that must be avoided at all costs.  Our human existence is at jeopardy with the introduction of robots from Elon Musk.  I am grateful that we are in a world of technology.  But, we must be self-sufficient and strive for knowledge.
